An ozone treatment<\/strong> is always preceded by a thorough examination and an exact diagnosis. The appropriate form of treatment is then selected in consultation with the patient. Treatment is always with a gas mixture of medical oxygen<\/strong> and ozone<\/strong> , the ozone content is in the microgram range (\u00b5g)<\/strong> . For understandable reasons, however, one speaks of ozone – in the medical context, this always means the ozone-oxygen<\/strong> mixture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Because ozone is a very unstable compound, it cannot be easily stored like oxygen, CO2 or other gases. The active substance ozone<\/strong> is generated “on site” with an ozone device<\/strong> from medical oxygen<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 26 national and international ozone therapy associations and medical ozone societies have agreed on  application and dosage recommendations for the various forms of application in the <\/strong> ” Declaration of Madrid on ozone therapy<\/a> “<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
